Damage Policy:

At Winefred Lake Lodge, we strive to maintain our accommodations and equipment to the highest standards for the enjoyment and safety of all our guests. In the event that damages occur to the rooms or boats during your stay, the following policy will be enforced:

  1. Assessment of Damages: Upon check-out, our staff will conduct a thorough inspection of the rooms and boats for any damages beyond normal wear and tear.
  2. Guest Responsibility: Guests are responsible for any damages caused to the rooms, boats, motors, equipment, or property of Winefred Lake Lodge during their stay.
  3. Charges and Fees: If damages are identified, the guest will be notified promptly. The guest will be subject to a fee for the repair or replacement of the damaged items, as determined by management. The fee will be charged to the credit card on file used for booking, unless alternative payment arrangements are made with management.
  4. Dispute Resolution: If guests dispute any charges for damages, they must notify management immediately. Management will review the dispute and make a fair determination based on the evidence provided.

We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining the integrity of our lodge facilities and equipment.

Vehicle and Boat Requirements:

Our road is maintained but shared by several local campgrounds, forestry, oil, and gas workers. We strongly recommend a 4X4 vehicle for access to Winefred Lake Lodge. We are not responsible for stuck vehicles or damages incurred during travel.

A valid boater's ID or equivalent paperwork is required for any guests operating our boats.

Life jackets, paddles, and safety kits must be in your boat at all times while on Winefred Lake.

Property Usage:

Use of the road, boat launch, and property is at the user's discretion. Winefred Lake staff or management is not responsible for any damages, injuries, or theft incurred. Guests must respect other guests and staff at Winefred Lake. Quiet time is 11 PM on the Winefred property and wilderness camp. Non-compliance may result in eviction.

Additionally, if a room key is lost or forgotten to be returned upon check-out, a fee will be charged to cover the cost of key replacement.

No ATVs, campers, RVs, or tents are permitted on Winefred Lake Lodge property.

No Pets Allowed:

At Winefred Lake Lodge, we strive to provide a comfortable and safe environment for all our guests.
